Infrastructure Architect (Helsinki or other)

Elisa has been notified as a global forerunner in providing modern Telecom services with modern technologies. IT and Telco Services business unit offers datacenter platforms and cloud infrastructure for Elisa's services and production functions. Platforms and Clouds -team develops Elisa’s datacenter, private cloud and public cloud infrastructure. We are working in a close co-operation with our customers, business units and technology partners.

We are now looking for an Infrastructure Architect.

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be defining our long-term architecture of on-prem solutions for virtualization and private clouds, evolving towards hybrid solutions. You will be working with various Elisa’s businesses and IT professionals. Good co-operation skills are required to be successful in this role.

We expect that You have

• Experience on IT-infra platforms design and architecture
• Deep knowledge of key technologies on the domain (eg. VMware platform)
• Preferably experience of on-prem cloud solutions (eg. Openstack, Kubernetes)
• Experience of presales and solution planning
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and hand-on scripting, coding and automation skills (eg. Ansible, Powershell)
• Ability to learn
• Solid team working skills
